A forward-thinking, technology-driven accounting firm in Dublin is entering an exciting new phase of growth. To support this expansion, they are seeking a fully remote Practice Manager based in Ireland to lead a high-performing small accounting team, elevate technical standards, and strengthen the firm's delivery across accounts, tax, and advisory services. There will be no audit work involved.brThis role is designed for someone who thrives in a leadership and operational capacity: approximately 75% of the work is internal (team leadership, workflow management, technical review, process improvement), with around 25% involving direct client-facing responsibilities.brIt is an excellent fit for a Qualified Accountant (ACCA / ACA / CPA) with strong Irish practice experience. A CTA qualification (or part-qualified CTA) is a significant advantage.brKey ResponsibilitiesbrLeadership Team ManagementbrLead, coach, and support a growing accounting team.brReview team output to ensure accuracy, quality, and best-practice standards.brManage workflow planning, scheduling, and capacity.brMaintain up-to-date procedures, templates, and practice management work items.brAct as the point of technical escalation across accounting, corporation tax, income tax, and VAT.brProvide structured feedback, support CPD, and develop team capability.brClient Delivery Technical OversightbrOversee a small portfolio of clients (minimal hands-on production work).brReview annual accounts prepared under FRS 105 / FRS 102.brReview corporation tax, income tax, VAT, and CGT submissions.brHandle complex client queries and guide the team on technical issues.brSupport payroll on projects and statutory queries.brMaintain strong, proactive client communication and relationship management.brPractice Management SystemsbrDrive continuous improvement to enhance processes, efficiency, and margins.brEnsure consistent standards across workflow, documentation, and commentary.brMaintain and refine practice management workflow templates and service KPIs.brSupport technical and operational onboarding of new clients.brAct as a buffer for the director, managing internal and client queries efficiently.brCommercial AdvisorybrIdentify opportunities for advisory work, tax planning, and project engagements.brSupport improvements in proposals, pricing, and scoping.brContribute to maintaining profitability across service lines.brExperience Skills Requiredbr5+ years' experience in an Irish accountancy practice, with strong knowledge of Irish accounting and tax compliance.brQualified Accountant (ACCA / ACA / CPA).brCTA qualification or strong tax capability preferred.brProven experience reviewing accounts, CT, IT, VAT, and CGT.brConfident people manager with strong workflow and deadline management.brExcellent communication, professional judgment, and problem-solving ability.brStrong working knowledge of cloud-based systems.brThe Ideal PersonbrSupportive and collaborative leader.brPositive "can-do" attitude with excellent attention to detail.brEnjoys working in a friendly, informal, yet highly professional practice.brPassionate about improving systems and processes.brAmbitious and keen to grow alongside a scaling firm.brSalary: €60,000-€65,000 + benefitsbrIf you're an experienced practice professional who thrives in a modern, tech-enabled environment and wants to play a key leadership role in a growing firm, we'd love to hear from you.brShow more Show less
