You will ensure strong operational performance, profitable growth, and close collaboration with Sales, Operations, Partners, and Carriers. /p pYou act as the air freight expert, business driver, and people leader – translating strategy into execution and results. /p h3Key responsibilities /h3 pProduct Business Leadership /p ul liFull responsibility for Air Freight Import Export operations at regional level /li liActively drive growth and profitability in export air freight business /li liMonitor and manage PL development for the Air Export product /li liSupport the definition and execution of Air Freight budget and volume targets /li liDevelop key export import vertical markets in close cooperation with Sales and Marketing /li liContribute to achieving targets for major air trade lanes /li /ul h3Carrier Partner Management /h3 ul liSupport and participate in carrier negotiations aligned with regional and local contracts /li liManage allocation performance and capacity achievement with carriers /li liMaintain strong relationships with airlines, partners, and agents /li liResponsible for IATA relationship at regional level and ensure compliance with all IATA operational requirements /li /ul h3Sales Customer Support /h3 ul liActively support the Sales organization with technical expertise and product solutions /li liParticipate in customer and prospect visits together with Sales /li liSupport Sales and Operations in solving reiterated or critical operational issues /li liDesign tailor-made air freight solutions for customers and new business opportunities /li /ul h3Operations Compliance /h3 ul liEnsure high-quality, compliant, and efficient air freight operations (Import Export) /li liResponsible for statistics, reporting, and file administration related to air freight traffic /li liWork in full accordance with compliance rules, policies, and procedures /li liCooperate closely with Operations to continuously improve execution and customer service /li /ul h3People Leadership /h3 ul liLead, coach, and develop your team (dotted line) to perform at their best /li liRecommend hiring, promotions, and other people decisions /li /ul h3Who you are /h3 pYou are a commercially minded air freight professional with strong leadership skills and a hands-on mindset.
