care in an environment which encourages staff to growth. /ph3Key responsibilities /h3ullibManagement of staff /b /liliProvides assistance to staff in accordance with the goals of the organizational /liliCounsels employees and advises the Head Nurse of appropriate actions. /liliAssists in scheduling staff in a manner that ensures quality care standards and promotes optimal use of staff. /liliIn consultation with the Head Nurse, may adjust staff schedules to provide adequate coverage and safe patient care. /liliAdvises and informs staff about implementation of policies and procedures. /liliKeeps the Head Nurse informed of problems or personnel issues within the clinic. /liliPromotes open and participative communication among staff. /liliMaintains a flexible schedule to be available to staff members. /liliProvides a climate in which staff can readily participate in change or innovations. /liliAssists with new Employee Orientation, probation period and renewal Evaluation. /liliEvaluates together with clinic mentors and Head Nurse all new medical staff after probation period. /li /ulullibManagement of the Clinic /b /liliAssists with management of the clinic to encourage quality patient care and staff satisfaction /liliMonitors safety, cleanliness, and security standards. /liliRegularly evaluates and monitors the use and replacement of equipment and supplies. /liliAssists with the preparation of monthly reports concerning goals, achievements and problems of the clinic. /liliEnsure implementation of Risk Management (RM) policy in assessing potential risk, planning and implementation of action plans. /liliMakes recommendations to the Head Nurse in order to improve. /li /ulullibManagement of Care /b /liliWorks to ensure the delivery of quality patient care /liliAssists with the development of, and provides input for clinic specific standards. /liliEnsures the utilization of quality assurance standards and protocols. /liliSupervises and evaluates the quality of nursing and patient care through patient rounds and specific quality assurance projects. /liliFacilitates liaison with medical and non-medical staff in coordinating multi-disciplinary activities for patient care. /liliKeeps the Head Nurse informed about patient problems and issue affecting patient care. /liliParticipates in patient and family education. /liliCooperates with Country Nursing Manager to ensure that audit action plans are completed /liliContribute and supports the Performance Improvement (PI) and Quality Improvement and Patient Safety (QPS) strategies and projects. /liliProtect the privacy and confidentiality of the information at all times. /li /ulullibManagement and Communication /b /liliInteracts effectively with patients, family and staff to maintain standards of professional care to patients and families /liliDemonstrates sensitivity to cultural and religious beliefs through a caring, respectful attitude, presentation and delivery. /liliDemonstrates effective written and verbal communication skills using recognized medical terminology. /liliPromotes positive working relationships within the team. /liliUses supplies and resources as role model for all staff. /liliSupervises the on-going review and practice of emergency procedures by the unit staff. /liliEnsures the follow up of the clinical competencies of d.academy Nurse Education program together with Head nurse and clinic mentors /li /ulh3Qualifications /h3h3Education /h3p– Registered Nurse, Bachelor Degree in Nursing /ph3Experience /h3ulliMinimum of 4 years’ experience in dialysis /liliSuccessfully passed a Hemodialysis Training Program /liliCertified in BCLS and preferably in ACLS /liliCertified and registered with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties. /li /ulh3Skills /h3ulli– Leadership and Management Skills, Communications Skills, Clinical expertise, Problem-Solving and Decision-making, Monitoring and Education, Administrative Skills,
