ph3Overview /h3pHamar - Hedmark - Norway /ppAbout The Role: As a CBRE Data Center Technician, you will perform preventative maintenance and corrective repairs within a Data Center operation. This job is part of the Critical and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for technical maintenance services in critical client environments. /ph3What You’ll Do /h3ulliAssist with daily site inspections of all Mechanical Engineering systems and technical equipment, including servicing and maintenance. /liliEnsure the site's environmental conditions provide a safe work environment. /liliReact to Building Management System alarms, and complete emergency repairs as needed. /liliWork with third-party vendors, ensuring compliance with company-developed processes, procedures, and all applicable laws and regulations. /liliAlert management if subcontractor performance doesn’t meet all requirements per the Master Service Agreement. /liliComplete planned preventative maintenance (PM) and reactive maintenance on all equipment. /liliCheck BMS for running and alarm conditions and respond to HVAC-related client problems. /liliBuilding walkthroughs, taking meter readings from UPS, PDU’s and utilities. /liliProvide fixes to facility and plant faults and defects. /liliComplete assigned work according to established processes and procedures. Follow all safety processes and requirements and ensure all regulatory requirements and quality standards are met. Conduct routine quality checks for comprehensive maintenance records. /liliComplete all required training to ensure successful completion of all job-related responsibilities. /liliUse existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion. /liliImpact through clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks are described in detail. /liliDeliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance. /li /ulh3What You’ll Need /h3ulliTraining in a Technical discipline having served an apprenticeship or equivalent with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Ability to work shifts that may include weekends and holidays /liliMust be able to Meet the physical requirements of this role. /liliTo effectively present information to an internal department, client, management and/or colleagues. /liliAbility to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work. /liliCommunication skills to exchange straightforward information. /liliWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. /liliStrong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset. /liliBasic math skills.
