ATC operates in a dynamic global market where clients demand a service that is right first time, every time; we are recruiting motivated and driven people to work in a company that is Driving Forward. /p h3Role /h3 pstrongJob Title: Data Centre Installer /strong /p pATC's Data Centre General Operatives or Data Centre Installers (DCIs) provide an essential service to our clients across Europe. They work inside our clients' data centres delivering, positioning, and installing server racks to build their cloud infrastructure. This role is suitable for someone with prior experience in a data centre, warehouse, logistics or construction environment. Safety, security and customer service are the priorities for all ATC employees. /p pThe DCI role provides opportunities to learn and develop. There are pathways to delivery supervisor, cabling technician, or team leader, and training and mentorship are provided. Candidates can also travel with work as part of ATC's Mobilisation Team. /p pstrongContract Type: /strong This is a full-time role with a permanent contract after a 6-month probation. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liAttend clients' sites on time, with all required equipment, uniform, procedures and documentation, and PPE /li liUnloading, unpacking with power tools and positioning customers' IT hardware (server racks) /li liLifting up to 30-40 kg is required, with occasional exertion up to 50 kg (using safe lifting methods) /li liCabling server racks by patching and dressing fibre and copper cables (in certain regions, and training will be provided) /li liProviding industry-leading customer service levels by acting professionally with clients and colleagues at all times /li liFollowing clients' procedures and requirements, including health and safety, and security /li liCommunicating with colleagues, including managers, planners, team leaders and supervisors, in a consistent, timely, and efficient manner. Reports include arrival times, delays, safety concerns, and completion times /li liCompleting daily checklists and providing reports on daily activities or tasks, including other general administration tasks /li liAny other duties that may be assigned from time to time in line with your skills and competencies /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 pstrongCandidate Requirements /strong /p ul liFlexibility and adaptability to changing situations and customer requirements; comfortable working under pressure and on strict timelines /li liAdaptability while performing tasks, ready to change priorities and maintain professional communications with clients, colleagues and vendors /li liStrong organisational and problem-solving skills, with high levels of attention to detail /li liStrong physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks involving lifting, carrying, and moving objects /li liValid class B driving licence with a good driving record /li liBasic experience with hand and power tools /li liExperience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams and Email /li liLanguage proficiency: B2 level in English and A2 level in the country of employment /li /ul pThe following qualifications, skills and experience would be an advantage: /p ul liPrior experience in a data centre, logistics or construction environment /li liAbility to be flexible and travel for work /li liAbility to complete checklists in Excel (or Teams) based on daily activities /li liPrior experience with the installation of structured cabling, including fibre and copper /li /ul pstrongNote: /strong We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this role.
