ph3Purpose /h3 pThe Director of Engineering is responsible for leading and scaling Maritech’s engineering organization. This role ensures that teams deliver high-quality, secure, and scalable technology solutions aligned with business strategy. The Director of Engineering fosters a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence, while developing strong engineering leaders and building a world-class technology organization. /p h3Primary Activities /h3 ul liLead and scale the engineering organization to meet current and future business needs. /li liTranslate the company’s technology strategy into actionable engineering execution. /li liEstablish and maintain best practices in software development, architecture, quality, and security. /li liPartner with Product leadership to align engineering priorities with customer and business outcomes. /li liBuild, mentor, and retain high-performing engineering teams and leaders. /li liDrive operational excellence, including delivery predictability, performance, and cost efficiency. /li liRepresent Engineering in executive discussions and cross-functional initiatives. /li liFoster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and accountability. /li /ul h3Primary Interfaces /h3 ul liEVP Product Technology /li liExternal partners and vendors /li /ul h3Experience and Competence Requirements /h3 ul liBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. /li li12+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5+ years in senior engineering leadership roles. /li liDemonstrated success in scaling engineering organizations and managing multiple teams. /li liStrong understanding of modern software development practices, cloud platforms, and enterprise architecture. /li liProven track record of delivering large-scale, high-quality technology solutions. /li /ul h3Personal Skills /h3 ul liStrategic and execution-focused leader with strong business acumen. /li liExcellent communication and collaboration skills, able to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. /li liEmpowers and inspires teams to do their best work. /li liSkilled at balancing innovation with operational efficiency. /li liTrusted partner to executives and a visible leader within the company. /li /ul pAs an employee at Maritech the role has a responsibility for information security in the company and must act in accordance with, and understand, the applicable guidelines and policies. /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
