Come and build with us. /p h3Your main goal will be to design, own, and scale Finance-specific systems and workflows that enable accurate reporting, efficient operations, and sustainable growth at n8n. /h3 pTo do so, you’ll take ownership of the Finance systems landscape, act as the main driver of Finance tooling and integrations, and partner closely with central Automation and Data teams while avoiding duplicate or shadow setups. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 h3Own and scale the Finance systems landscape /h3 ul liOwn Finance-specific systems end to end (ERP, billing, AP, FPA), including configuration, administration, integrations, and continuous improvement. /li liLead system selection and implementation for Finance tooling, from requirements definition to rollout and adoption. /li liEstablish clear governance, documentation, and change management practices aligned with company-wide principles and processes. /li /ul h3Drive Finance-owned automation and integrations /h3 ul liOwn Finance automation use cases end to end, including discovery, scoping, and prioritization, ensuring delivery either directly for simple use cases or in partnership with the Automation team for more complex ones. /li liAct as the primary Finance interface to the Automation team, translating Finance requirements into clear technical inputs and contributing to integration design decisions. /li liEnsure Finance systems integrate cleanly into the broader tooling ecosystem without creating parallel automation or ownership structures. /li /ul h3Own Finance reporting requirements and system enablement /h3 ul liOwn Finance reporting requirements and related system configuration, ensuring Finance systems are correctly set up to measure and report core financial metrics. /li liTranslate Finance and accounting requirements into system logic, configuration, and reporting structures. /li liPartner closely with Analytics Engineering and the central Data team to support shared Finance data models where needed, while remaining accountable for Finance definitions and correctness. /li liReplace spreadsheet-driven Finance reporting with automated dashboards and reports using SQL and BI tools. /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 h3Must-haves /h3 ul liSenior Finance systems experience: You have 7+ years of experience in Finance systems, Finance operations, or adjacent roles with strong systems ownership. /li liFinance systems ownership: You have owned and administered core Finance systems such as ERP, billing, or CRM tools (for example NetSuite, Stripe, Salesforce, or equivalents). /li liIntegrations and automation exposure: You have hands‑on experience working with system integrations and automations, including APIs, data mapping, and workflow design, even if not building all automation independently. /li liDelivery mindset: You have led systems or process improvements that replaced manual Finance work and delivered clear operational impact. /li liFinance process expertise: You understand end-to-end Finance workflows such as Quote-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, and Record-to-Report. /li liReporting and data fluency: You are comfortable working with Finance data, SQL-based reporting, and system-driven dashboards. /li liCross‑functional project leadership: You can scope work, prioritize effectively, and coordinate with Automation, Data, and other stakeholders to deliver outcomes. /li liTranslation skills: You can translate Finance requirements into clear system configuration, integration needs, and reporting logic. /li /ul h3Nice-to-haves /h3 ul liAccounting or Finance qualification: You hold a CPA, ACCA, CIMA, or similar qualification. /li liTechnical depth: You have basic Python or JavaScript skills to support advanced integrations or data transformations. /li liBI tooling experience: You have worked with BI tools such as Metabase, Looker, Tableau, or Hex. /li liScale experience: You have supported Finance systems in high‑growth or multi‑entity environments. /li liGovernance and architecture exposure: You are familiar with data governance or systems architecture principles. /li liCertifications: You hold ERP or automation platform certifications. /li /ul h3Why join us? /h3 pAt n8n, you won’t just maintain systems.
