ph3Overview /h3pbOutdoor Norway /b, situated in the heart of Voss – recognized as Norway's Adventure Capital, seeks a talented and self-driven bMarketing Manager /b. You will own Outdoor Norway’s marketing strategy across multiple channels (digital, offline, B2B, and B2C) and execution. You will guide a team of 3-6 people, working to expand awareness, drive bookings, deepen guest engagement, and reinforce our brand values. You’ll report to the Company CEO and collaborate closely with operations, product development, guides, and local partners. /ppbCompensation: /b Hourly wage based on experience in the position, education level, and language proficiency. /ppbContract period: /b Seasonal Position 2026 with a possibility of becoming full time (flexible) /ppbExperience: /b 7–10 years marketing, with experience in tourism / outdoor / adventure sectors preferred /ph3Key Responsibilities /h3h3Strategic Planning Brand Development /h3ulliDefine and drive the annual and seasonal marketing strategy in alignment with Outdoor Norway’s mission and goals. /liliDevelop the brand voice and positioning in local and international markets. /liliOversee digital marketing (SEO/SEM, content, email, social media), offline channels, partnerships, PR, influencer marketing. /liliLead content creation (stories, photo / video, guides, blogs) that communicate the nature / adventure experience. /liliLead, coach, and develop a small team (3–6), fostering values like efficiency, transparency, loyalty. /li /ulh3Customer Focus Guest Experience /h3ulliUse customer feedback, reviews, analytics to understand what guests value, optimizing offerings / communications accordingly. /liliEnsure marketing reflects the authenticity of the outdoor experiences and preserves the sustainability message. /li /ulh3Sustainability Responsible Travel /h3ulliIncorporate sustainability, environmental responsibility into all marketing narratives. /liliWork on projects to ensure that marketing choices (partners, imagery, messaging) align with our responsible travel values. /li /ulh3Budgeting, Analytics Reporting /h3ulliOwn the marketing budget; plan spend across channels; track return on investment (ROI). /liliUse data / metrics to evaluate campaign effectiveness; adjust strategies quickly when something isn’t working. /li /ulh3Stakeholder / Partner Management /h3ulliCollaborate with local partners: tourism boards, accommodations, transport, guides. /liliWork with external agencies (ad creatives, digital, PR), influencers, media. /li /ulh3Qualifications /h3ulliBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Tourism Management, or related field. /lili7–10 years of progressive marketing experience, preferably in the tourism sector. /liliProven success in leading high-performing marketing teams. /liliExperience with international marketing campaigns and brand development. /liliStrong knowledge of digital tools: Google Ads, Meta Ads, SEO/SEM, CRM, analytics platforms. /liliExcellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Norwegian is a plus. /liliDeep empathy for customer journeys; passion for nature / outdoors / sustainability. /liliAbility to work in a fast‑changing, seasonal environment, and adaptability through peak / off‑peak times. /li /ulh3What we offer /h3ulliRole designed in collaboration to align with your expertise and experience /liliBeing part of an international team consisting of driven and motivated colleagues /liliContinuity and growth opportunities within Outdoor Norway /liliA challenging learning environment that offers the autonomy to shape your own position /liliEnjoying a lively and inclusive team atmosphere with plenty of laughter and team events /li /ulpWe are enthusiastic about hearing from you and exploring how both of us can help each other grow into new levels.
