This is a key leadership role responsible for delivering the production plan, maximising yields, ensuring consistent product quality, and driving operational excellence across the facility. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to meet customer deadlines, optimise raw material usage, and support continuous improvement initiatives while fostering a high‑performance culture within the production team. Key brResponsibilities brAssist with the planning and scheduling of the powder production plan brEnsure the production plan requirements are met to meet customer deadlines and achieve maximise yields brMonitor all relevant KPI's with a view to develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives. KPI's include QRFT, Downtime, OEE, Milk Yields, Protein Standardisation and Powder Through-Put. brEnsure all aspects of Lakeland's high quality standards are achieved in the powder production process, e.g., Audit Ready. brStrong ability to problem‑solve and respond quickly to unexpected challenges. brProven capability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve targets and operational goals. brStrong industry experience in production management ideally in a dairy or food manufacturing environment. brDemonstrated leadership capability, strong communication skills, and experience in change management. brHigh learning agility and ability to adapt in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. brThird-level qualification in Engineering, Food Science, or a related discipline required or equivalent experience
