ppHaving a fleet of six semi-submersible vessels, Seaway7 are also one of the most experienced heavy transport vessel (HTV) operators in the world, providing highly engineered transport solutions for the most demanding cargoes – safely and on-time. /p pWe are looking for a bProject Engineer /b to join our bHeavy Transportation team /bin our bOslo /b office. /p h3What will you be doing? /h3 ul liTranslating project planning and engineering into detailed studies, working methods and manuals, so that the project can be realized efficiently and effectively in accordance with the contractual agreements (safety, quality, planning and budget). /li liEnsure that the operations are planned in a way that maintains the safety of personnel as well as minimizes environmental impact. /li liEnsure adequate quality and efficiency in own work. /li liLiaise with all involved departments (project- and tender-support, operations, HSSEQ, fleet-management, procurement, controlling etc.) to ensure that the correct methods have been selected, and that manpower and equipment are available when needed. /li liAct as the key interface towards clients for all non-commercial topics whilst also taking care of progress reports to the customer. /li liWillingness to travel, as and when required /li /ul h3What experience would we like you to have? /h3 ul liWe encourage all applications from those with a relevant Bachelor and/or Master degree (for example Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, Offshore Engineering) and will also consider those with equivalent technical qualifications or experience /li liMinimum of 3 years relevant work experience. /li liUnderstanding of engineering principles including hydrostatics, hydrodynamics, marine operations, technical design and vessel strength evaluation. /li liExperience with float-on/float-off or roll-on/roll-off operations is beneficial. /li liUnderstanding/Experience of the following Standards and Engineering Software is beneficial but not essential: /li ul liDNV rules or other class rules related to marine operations /li liAutoship/Autoload or similar stability calculation software. /li liABB Octopus or similar motion calculation software. /li liAutodesk AutoCAD Inventor /li liVisual Basic for Microsoft Office /li liOther programming languages, like Python or C++ /li /ul liCan work well independently or in a team /li liGood command of written and spoken English. /li /ul pAt times, there may be specific qualifications we’re looking for, but we also recognise the power of transferrable skills, so if you feel you have some of the relevant skills and experience we’re looking for, we want to hear from you. /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
