We offer a wide range of consultant assignments, featuring many of the most exciting projects in Norway and internationally. /p h3Details /h3 h3Assignment Description /h3 pAs a Senior Cost Engineer, you will play a major role in ensuring the financial success of our projects. You will be responsible for all cost engineering deliverables for a particular project or portfolio of projects. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining accurate and consistent cost tracking, managing accruals, and providing insightful variance explanations to the Finance department. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liOversee internal and external project cost status reporting. /li liEnsure accurate and consistent cost tracking. /li liManage accruals, forecasts, cash flow inputs, invoice handling, and preparation of requisitions. /li liDeliver variance explanations to the Finance department. /li liDevelop and maintain the project Work Breakdown Structure (WBS). /li liHandle project changes with cost impact (management of Change). /li liContribute to Baseline updates. /li liIdentify, analyze, and track cost changes versus sanctioned budgets. /li liDevelop and manage contingency drawdown plans. /li liPrepare and follow-up on Manpower Projection Plans and man-hour cost estimates. /li liCorrelate cost data with other project data (schedules, manpower, productivity, etc.), investigate variances, prepare analysis, highlight inconsistencies, and propose mitigating actions. /li liUtilize tools such as SAP, EcoSys, PowerBI, and Pims. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liStrong analytical and problem-solving skills. /li liExcellent communication and interpersonal skills. /li liAbility to work collaboratively with various departments. /li /ul pPersonalized, hands‑on support from our dedicated Omega 365 team members /p pCollaboration with one of Norway's most prestigious consultant firms /p pGuidance from experienced department managers, facilitating the development of your project expertise /p pInternal visa assistance and expert advice for EEA/expat consultants /p pExcellent opportunities to expand your professional network through project involvement and social gatherings /p pExclusive benefits including access to holiday houses and cabins in picturesque locations such as Hovden, Hemsedal, Geilo, Hafjell, Oppdal, Voss, Vågsli, Sirdal, Gran Canaria, and Thailand /p pDiverse offerings of events including concerts and exciting excursions, both in Norway and abroad.
