Working closely with global and local Supply Chain teams, you will support ensure RFP, cost savings initiatives, service excellence, and sustainability across our supply chain. Collaboration is key -you will partner with stakeholders in Global and local Supply Chain, Finance, and procurement colleagues worldwide (Germany, US, Mexico, China, Malaysia) to align supplier strategies and implement best practices. /p pThis position reportsdirectly to theHead of Global Indirect Procurement Capex. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul libCategory Strategy Development: /b In close cooperation with the Key stakeholders within Global and local Supply chain teams to define and implement category strategies for logistics, transport, and 3PL warehousing aligned with business objectives. Conduct market analysis and benchmarking to identify cost-saving opportunities and innovation. /li libSupplier Management: /b Lead sourcing activities, including RFPs, negotiations, and contract management. Develop strategic partnerships with key suppliers to ensure service quality and compliance. /li libCost Optimization Risk Management: /b Drive procurement cost reduction initiatives without compromising service levels. Identify and mitigate supply chain risks to ensure business continuity. /li libStrategic Partnering Stakeholder Collaboration: /b Work closely with Supply Chain, and Finance teams to align procurement strategies with operational needs. Act as a trusted advisor for logistics and warehousing procurement decisions. /li libSupplier Performance: /b Lead quarterly business reviews (QBR) with strategic suppliers, monitor KPIs for performance, cost savings, and sustainability goals, and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. /li libData-Driven Procurement: /b Analyze category spend, supply markets, and cost drivers in collaboration with our new Procurement Insights teamto uncover efficiencies and opportunities. /li libSustainability: /b Integrate responsible sourcing practices into category plans. Ensuring alignment with sustainability goals and driving environmental and social impact across the supply base /li libInnovation Continuous Improvement: /b Challenge the status quo and actively seek out opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation. /li libSupport procurement activities within other procurement categories /b /li /ul h3What You Bring /h3 pWhile great skills and experience can come from many paths, we believe you’re likely to thrive in this role if you have: /p ul liABachelor’s or Master’s degreein Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, Finance or similar field. /li lib3–5 years of procurement and category management experience /band/or b5–8 years of industry experience in logistics/transport/3PL with a procurement focus and strong interest. /b /li liStrong stakeholder management experienceand ability tocollaborate across functionsand regions in a matrix environment while building strong internal and external partnerships. /li liStronganalytical capabilitieswith the ability to turn data into actionable insights. /li liProvenand strong skills innegotiation,supplier management, andcontract execution etc. /li liProficiency with procurement systems(P2P, spend analysis, eSourcing, contract management tools, etc.). /li liExcellentproject management,communication, andengagementskills. /li liPro-active mindsethighlyself-motivatedwith astrong sense of ownership and initiative,consistently focused on driving business value. /li liAbility to navigate within a dynamic, fast paced global environment.Quickly adapts to the changes while maintaining productivity and a positive outlook. /li liIt will be an advantage if you in addition have Procurement experience within other Indirect spend areas. /li /ul h3Ambu – a visionary and international workplace where your efforts matter /h3 pAmbu is a company that expands rapidly and has ambitious growth targets.
