ph3Summer Assignment: Operational Purchaser (SCM) /h3 pWe are looking for 15 summer substitutes in operational purchasing for one of Norway’s largest operators within oil and gas. /p h3Period: /h3 p - /p h3Location /h3 pSandsli, Bergen - No commuters! /p h3Languages /h3 pFluent oral and written communication skills in Norwegian and English /p h3About the Department /h3 pProjects Drilling Procurement (PDP), Procurement and Supplier Relations (PSR), and Operations contribute to the company’s overall success by executing high‑quality procurement tasks and securing delivery of materials and services for internal customers across business areas such as EPN, MMP, DW and CS. /p pWe are hiring summer substitutes within operational purchasing for both local and central teams, and we are looking for motivated, customer‑and service‑oriented, commercial and efficient purchasers. Training will be provided. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 pAs an operational purchaser, you will: /p ul liCollaborate closely with business lines and requisitioners to understand needs /li liIssue enquiries, evaluate offers, negotiate contracts, and set call‑offs and purchase orders (POs) /li liFollow up deliveries and handle deviations in PO management and the invoice process /li liParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives, including digitalisation, RPA and new ways of working /li liWork across business units and contribute to efficiency and improvement activities /li liTake on other relevant tasks within the Supply Chain Management area /li /ul pThe company takes pride in providing good training to enable you to perform your tasks.
